For an international building company we are looking for a Cost Engineer Marine. This cost expert on waterworks/ marine projects will be responsible, together with a multidisciplinary team, for projectbudgeting abroad.

Job description: Cost Engineer Marine

As Cost Engineer Marine you are important in the tenderproces. Beforehand you collect data combining this with your knowledge of the country, location, possible difficulties, projectrequirements, materials and prices. You are leading in tonnage calculations, develop and select alternative designsolutions, workmethodes and materials. You are leading in joint ventures at price comparison, selecting methodes and product comparison. Frequently you are traveling between large project sites.

Job criteria: Cost Engineer Marine

As Cost Engineer Marine you have the following qualifications:

• Degree in civil engineering (higher vocational education at B.Sc. level);
• At least 10 years experience as a site manager in civil or marine construction outside Western Europe;
• Thorough knowledge of budgeting, planning, construction processes, materials, equipment and tools;
• Analytical and organisational skills;
• Flexibility to adapt to very diverse site circumstances;
• Eager to work outside Europe;
• Fluent in English and French (spoken and written).
