Process Manager Germany

The Process Manager is responsible to drive product & process changes, and design process improvements within the manufacturing site. As a leader, you are the central point of contact to manage the technology & processes transfer, interacting with internal (manufacturing network) & external stakeholders (i.e., central teams, P&I, Planning, Procurement, Manufacturing manager, engineering, R&D, artwork, quality, master data). You are responsible to ensure the projects are landed on time and efficiently. The projects are related to innovations, renovations, value creations, supply chain resilience, technology transfer, process improvements (capacity, waste reduction, OEE improvements, etc.).

Reporting to the Technology and Innovation Manager in Europe, you are in charge to lead the T&I team. You will lead the process validations E2E manufacturing level, keeping factory excellence and productivity by design.

Responsibilities

• Lead the team of 3 high-skilled people to drive the projects. Develop the depth of technical knowledge within the manufacturing network, building the skills within the T&I team.
• Responsible for assessing manufacturing impact on innovation input for business case. Responsible for mapping and building factory capabilities.
• Provide technical expertise to the operations and site network ensuring excellence by design:
  • Coordinate factory functions to implement changes and mitigate risks.
  • Roll-out new process settings providing trainings on change management to operators.
  • Interface and support Engineering where process installations are being altered or introduced.
  • Ensure the projects are launched within Zero Based Waste targets and expected operational efficiency.
  • Review and update changing over matrix, supported by R&D.
  • Troubleshooter for product, process, and packaging performance. Provide solutions to bottlenecks prior to commercial productions.

• Implement efficient project tracking ensuring correct prioritization on day-to-day T&I tasks, identifying risks, and helping to shape a plan to put in place proportionate mitigations.
• Define processes settings and ways of working to set priorities with your local team, developing process standards, identifying optimization opportunities, driving team capacity, ensuring capabilities development within and outside the team, as needed.I

• Master degree in the field of Food Science & Technology, Bioengineering, or similar
• Self-starter with good entrepreneur skills.
• Ability to manage complex discussions and manage conflict among stakeholders.
• Experience in the dairy industry and/or experience in quality or product development is an advantage.
• Strong Process & Product validations background, including experience in Project management.
• Very good communication skills at all levels
• Good communication skills in German and English (written and oral)

Salary indication is about 85K a year excl. Bonus. Extra benefits are good and we would like to discuss these with you during an interview.
